FELONY DWI with Accident and .209 Blood Draw. Dismissed February 7, 2023 in Harris County for Insufficient Evidence. Officer called to scene of accident and searched for vehicle described. Two witnesses to accident. After investigation, field sobriety tests and a search warrant for blood, my client was arrested and charged with Felony DWI. After reviewing evidence, an Administrative License Revocation hearing and many court appearances, I convinced the state they could not prove my client was operating the vehicle or if my client was intoxicated at the time of the offense.

MURDER Refused February 7, 2023 for insufficient evidence - Grimes County. I was appointed to represent client in December of 2021. After more than a year of bond conditions, life restrictions, headache and heartache, and many meetings with the District Attorney, the state refused the case stating the charge cannot be proven.

DISMISSED FIVE Delivery of a Controlled Sustance (25-Life Habitual) in San Jacinto County. All carges were controlled buys by Undercover Narcotics Officers and a Confidential Informant. Client was on Parole for Felony Charge and with the priors was facing 25 to life. After several months, state dismissed all charges for insufficient evidence. I was able to show the case could not be proven with the evidence the state possessed.

NOT GUILTY - DWI SECOND with .113 BLOOD - Harris County This was the first criminal trial completed in Harris County after the courts closed for COVID. for 22 months, we fought for a client who remained adamant he was innocent. Client was stopped for speeding and the second question from the officer was how "much have you had to drink?" The arresting officer was a veteran HPD DWI officer with hundreds of DWI investigations. He testified he had my client do field sobriety tests. Under cross examination he testified he administered them incorrectly and the validity was affected. Under more aggressive cross examination, the officer testified he did not believe my client had lost his mental or physical faculties; which is the definition of intoxicated. I moved for a directed verdict, and am thankful for a judge who follows the law and ordered the Jury to find my client not guilty. After almost two years of standing beside my client, he had his life back.
